Here is a last minute attempt to spruce up our Thanksgiving table this week. I used a vintage table cloth I had laying around, our regular dishes, pumpkins, and finished it off by turning brown cups (leftover from a party) into turkeys.
These cups were easy to make. I cut out paper feathers and taped them onto the back of the cup. Then, I made turkey faces and feet out of construction paper and googly eyes and attached them with tape. I finished my cup by inserting a yellow napkin into the cup for added feather fluff.
I had the kids help me assemble little gift bags. We all wrote one reason we are thankful for each person attending the Thanksgiving feast. We also added some chocolate and festive pictures.
