Beach Dessert Parfait- Easy

Beach Dessert Parfait
This dessert was featured as the birthday treat for my Beach Bum Birthday Party.  It would be a fun dessert for many occasions.  Just use the concept and change the fish theme and colors to suit your party!

Cookies, Blueberries, and Chocolate
16 oz. cookies (combination of dark and light cookies), chopped
Melted chocolate in a plastic bag (Do not melt the chocolate in the plastic bag)
10 oz. Fresh Blueberries

Layer a trifle dish with the cookies.  Then, snip a corner off your plastic bag and carefully pipe sea creatures on the inside of your bowl.  Next, layer the blueberries making sure to position them against the sides of the dish.

Bottom Filling Layer (darkest blue)
1- 8 oz. container of whipped topping, thawed
1- 8 oz. cream cheese, room temperature
1 cup confectioners sugar
blue food coloring

In a medium bowl, combine the cream cheese and sugar with an electric mixture until smooth.  Add the whipped topping and continue to beat until combined.  Add blue food coloring until you are pleased with the color.  Make this the darkest layer as shown above.

Middle Filling Layer (green)
1 (4 servings) package instant vanilla pudding
1 1/2 cups milk
blue food coloring

In a small bowl, combine the pudding mixture and the milk.  Stir until smooth.  Add blue food coloring until you are pleased with the color.  This will remain green in color which is why I hide it in the middle of the dessert as shown above.

Top Filling Layer (light blue)
1- 8 oz. container of whipped topping, thawed
blue food coloring

Stir blue food coloring into the whipped topping until you have a light blue color.  Then, spread this final layer on the top of your parfait.

Pipe chocolate shark fins, surf boards, and fish onto wax paper.  Decorate with these and/or sprinkles before serving.
