Turkey Pancakes!

Here is a healthier way to start out your Thanksgiving Day!

Pumpkin Wheat Pancakes
1 cup pumpkin
3/4 cup wheat germ or wheat bran
1 1/2 cups pancake mix
3/4-1 teaspoon cinnamon
1/4 teaspoon allspice
1/4 teaspoon ginger
Enough water to get the pancake consistency you desire

Combine all ingredients and cook on a prepared skillet creating large and small circle pancakes.  Place the large pancakes on serving plates first and the smaller ones on top resembling turkey heads.  Use apple slices for the feathers, bananas for the legs and feet, raisins for the eyes, and an apple wedge for the beak.  Serve with maple syrup.  Enjoy, and Happy Thanksgiving!
