Simple Asian Table Decorations for Larger Parties

I threw a large party last night with an Asian theme.  I decorated many tables and had zero money.  Sound familiar?  Here is the center piece I came up with:

The tables were round and each table had a white table cloth.  Using red butcher paper I cut out large circles.  Then, I folded them like you would a snowflake and cut out random shapes.

Next, with three different rubber stamps I stamped images onto each circle using black and white ink.

Every center piece was unique.

As for the flower arrangements I filled mason quart jars with fortune cookies, tied three black ribbons around the jar, and placed a bunch of fake yellow flowers in each jar.  You could fill the jars with other Asian goodies...or make a vase using chopsticks.

To finish the centerpiece I looked up origami paper cranes and folded one giant black paper crane for each center piece.

For fun hang black lanterns over the tables.
