(I did not make or create the center Easter blocks. My sister made them for me!)
Here is my colorful Easter table. One of these years I will stick with a more mundane color palate...but not this year!
I used a large piece of blue fabric for my table cloth and tied two of the ends with giant pink ribbon.
Here is my table runner I posted yesterday. I gathered supplies I had on hand (giant decorative eggs, place mats, and vases) and centered the design and colors of the table runner on these items. The vases, daisies, and placemats were all from the dollar store.
Each place setting had one egg cut out (not technically a placemat just a decoration), a large decorative plastic egg to eat our meal out of, a name card, regular silverware, and a goblet with a yellow napkin.
To make each name card I (my husband helped with this!) used the computer and fancy scissors. I taped them onto toothpicks and placed them in tiny bowls filled with candies.
These glasses were from our wedding. They were perfect for this table setting with their polk-a-dot pearls. It is hard to see in this picture but I cut half of each napkin to match the placemats. I have included a demonstration in my Elfkin Dinner Post.
A tiny bowl of happiness! Happy Easter!
*I only spent $1.67 to make this table spread. You may be surprised what you already have in your house.
