Creamy Italian Bean Soup


3 1/2 cups water
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1 (14.5 oz.) can diced tomatoes with liquid
3 (15 oz.) cans Great Northern Beans, drained
1 (8 oz.) package turkey pepperoni
1 small can sliced olives, drained
1 tablespoon dried basil
1 (.6 oz.) packet Italian Salad Dressing Mix, dry
1 (8 oz.) package reduced fat cream cheese, softened

In a large pot combine all ingredients except the cream cheese and cook on medium heat for 20 minutes or until heated through. Remove from heat and add cream cheese. Stir until melted. Serve immediately.

Yields: 5 Servings

*I never intended to post this recipe. I needed a meal one night and decided to create a soup using a Italian Seasoning packet. After trying it we decided to post it. You could spruce it up with additional Italian ingredients!
